We are Doug & Meredith Lovett.

We have been blessed with 25 years of marriage, a family of 4 exceptional children, 2 loving golden retrievers & 28 wily goats.

In the fall of 2023, we were at a crossroad in our lives - flooding at the hobby farm we raised our family in, almost empty nesters, nearing retirement & seriously thinking how we wanted to spend our precious time on this earth. Then came Shady Lane.

So, we made the obvious choice, bought the farmstead, put ourselves back in debt and doubled our workload!

In all seriousness, it has truly been a labor of love & tears.

The dream for Shady Lane is to bring together a culmination of our skills & hobbies. We want to create rustic, yet elegant spaces & moments for our family, friends & community to come together and make beautiful memories.
